A standard EXP™2 Stem Trap Kit includes (1) EXP™2 Stem Holder and (3) packed stems. Specialized features, patented technology, precision engineering and state-of-the-art manufacturing make the new EXP2 Stem Trap an unbeatable choice for ultra high-pressure trapping applications. Its slim architecture allows it to easily fit into crowded instrument compartments or to connect directly to tightly-spaced injection ports. When tightened by hand, the EXP2 Stem Trap seals to 8,700+ psi. Additionally, the product can be wrench tightened to 20,000+ psi (1,400+ bar). The unique packed floating stem installs directly into any 10-32 port and automatically adjusts to provide a perfect ZDV connection. This double end fitting, Direct Adaptive (Di-Ad™) HPLC Column Connector delivers a perfect, zero dead volume connection to any brand of column; minimize the chance of system volume induced band broadening for better chromatography while making it easy and convenient to change columns, between runs. These fittings are easily installed between the injector and the column and between the detector and the outlet side of your column. Then, simply screw the spring loaded end Di-Ad fittings into your column and the tubing pilot length will automatically be adjusted for a tight seal without any void volume. These fittings, with laser cut tubing, replaces the tubing and ordinary male nuts with ferrules or finger tight fittings already in use replacing the need to reset the ferrule swaged on the tubing each time you change column brands. The OPTI-TRAP™is a bi-directional trap cartridge system which is used individually or in a series for sample concentration and purification. The OPTI-TRAP™ system features a durable biocompatible trap holder assembly made of either PEEK (capillary configuration) or stainless steel with a PEEK flow path (micro and macro configurations). OPTI-TRAPs feature low back pressure and are loaded and eluted manually with a syringe or on-line when plumbed into the sample injection valve. Additionally OPTI-TRAPs include titanium frits for full biocompatibility and custom packing is also available upon request. The cartridges are available in three different sizes: 50uL, 5.0uL & 0.5uL and can be purchased as singles or in 6 packs.

The EXP™2 TI-LOK Fittings offer capillary HPLC and UHPLC connections rated to 20,000+ psi in any port and easily fit into tight spaces such as injection valves, column couplers, sample loops and column ovens. The Hand-Tight fittings allow users the versatility to change out capillary tube ID, length or end fittings to create any tube set configuration. Available with 10-32 threads for 1/16" ports and 6-32 and 6-40 threads for 1/32” ports. EXP™2 TI-LOK Fittings feature built-in PEEK ferrules and threaded nuts precision machined from titanium. The ferrule does not permanently swage to the tubing, allowing for many repeat connections and the ability to adjust the tubing to different port depths. EXP™2 TI-LOK Fittings are compatible with PEEK, PEEKsil, Hastelloy C and stainless steel tubing. When used with the PEEKsil the fittings create a zero-dead-volume (ZDV) connection without fracturing the fused silica.

Mac-Mod ColumnShield Pre-Column Filter, 0.5 um porosity, PEEK, (1 ea)
Designed for 3 micron and 5 micron particles with sub-3.0 mm ID and shorter column lengths that generate narrow peak volumes. They provide effective, low-dispersion filtering. Although they are not recommended for ultra-high-pressure applications, they can still be safely used at pressures up to 400 bar (6,000 psi). ColumnShield pre-column filters utilize a PEEK finger-tight design that connects directly to any 1/16 inch 10-32 internal thread inlet fitting port, regardless of the manufacturer.
